Farm business in Yanchep, Western Australia

Based on the development vision of "Clean Green Sustainable City" in Yanchep, Western Australia, our company and local subsidiaries are promoting initiatives to bring about a sustainable virtuous cycle for local community and the environment through synergistic effects from mutual collaboration, focusing on the four fields of agriculture, education, health and happiness, and community life. In the agricultural field, we aim to establish an ecosystem throughout the city, such as realizing a cycle of local production and consumption of Safety & Security food with low environmental impact through collaboration with research and technological development. Currently, we are working on livestock farming, olive cultivation, beekeeping, and other businesses by developing irrigation facilities that take advantage of the characteristics of the area.

Development of share farms in Vietnam

Becamex Tokyu, a local joint venture, is developing shared farms as part of urban and community development in Vietnam. The commercial facility "Hikari" in Binh Duong New City has turned the land next to it into a community garden, proposing to residents to work together to prepare the soil and grow vegetables.
In addition to providing urban agriculture through local production and consumption, it will also lead to the creation of new lifestyles and local communities for residents.

Developing community gardens in Thailand

Our local joint venture company, Saha Tokyu Corporation, is developing urban and community development in Sriracha District, Chonburi Province, Thailand. Many Japanese companies have set up operations in Sriracha, and we are running a rental housing business for Japanese people to support Japanese expatriates and their families. The rental property "Harmonic Residence Sriracha" has a "Harmonic Field" of about 70 m2. Here, with the cooperation of a local farm, we have prepared a shade net and soil containing fertilizer, and are growing lettuce, corn, and other crops. We plant and water the seedlings together with the residents' families and local people as part of a food education event, giving children an opportunity to touch the soil, plant seedlings, harvest, and eat, which makes them think about the importance of food. We are also contributing to sustainable agriculture by partnering with local farms and improving the environment to engage in "agriculture."
