Tokyu Security, a consolidated subsidiary of Tokyu Corporation, operates a security business to protect people living along Tokyu areas served by Tokyu’s railway lines, and manned security services to protect commercial facilities and railway facilities, the company also provides monitoring services for children and the elderly.

Child monitoring service

This service provides peace of mind to parents by distributing information about their children's progress.

  • Ekids: When a child uses their PASMO card to touch the automated ticket gates at Tokyu Line stations or the fare machines on Tokyu Bus, a record of their passage will be emailed to the parent or guardian.
  • Kids Security - Mimamorume: When a child with a special tag in their school bag passes through the school gates, an email is sent to the parent/guardian with a record of their child's passage.

Senior monitoring service

We provide peace of mind by having security guards rush to your home if family members who live far away suddenly become ill or if you sense any danger or suspicion.

Security monitoring service "SAFE-1"
It is a compact terminal with an integrated safety confirmation sensor and emergency button. It has a built-in communication line, so no construction is required and you can start using it easily and immediately.
If the sensor does not respond for a certain period of time, or in the event of an emergency, security guards will be dispatched by pressing the emergency button.

This portable pendant-type emergency button has a built-in communication line. When pressed in an emergency, security guards will come to your aid.

Shibuya Area Security

Tokyu Security’s Security guards are stationed at facilities around Shibuya Station that are related to Tokyu Group, and about 410 guards (at about 20 locations) watch over the town of Shibuya every day to prevent crime. In addition, a system (IP wireless network) is in place that allows instant information sharing between facilities, and in the event of an emergency, information is quickly shared throughout the area to prevent damage from spreading.

In 2002, the Tokyu Group established the Tokyu Group Compliance Guidelines to realize the Group's philosophy, and in addition to establishing basic principles of conduct, each company has formulated its own code of conduct. In these guidelines, the company declares that it will conduct fair and transparent transactions and adhere to legal standards and internal regulations. Since then, the company has promoted compliance management and has made "corporate governance and compliance" one of its Material sustainability themes (materiality), working to create a company that is free of fraud, highly transparent, and where appropriate decision-making takes place.

Evaluations of the effectiveness of the Board of Directors have been conducted since 2016, and since 2019, we have employed surveys by external consultants to further enhance our evaluations.

In order to ensure Tax Transparency and strengthen the prevention of corrupt practices, including bribery, among the matters stipulated in Tokyu Group Compliance Guidelines and Code of Conduct, in May 2022, we established a Tax Policy and an Anti-Corruption Policy for the Company and its consolidated subsidiaries.
